This rare and highly collectible item of limited edition signed Boxing memorabilia pays tribute to the late and great Maximillian Schmeling. His two fights with Joe Louis transcended boxing and became worldwide social events because of their racial and national associations. Despite his supposed associations with Nazism, used by propaganda of both sides, Max was later shown to be a hero to the Jewish people by rescuing a family whilst serving as an elite Paratrooper under Hitler. He become World Champion in 1930 and remains a sporting legend. He helped his friend Joe Louis later in life and passed away in 2005 aged 99. This stunning presentation contains a black and white photo which is personally signed with Best Wishes.
